Sound familiar?

What running a small store actually takes.

Owners told us where their week goes. Here's what Teamagogo does about each one, today.

Everybody wants Saturday off.

See weekend coverage before you post.

Coverage shows every day by the hour and by part of the day. Thin spots get flagged while you build. Shifty drafts around availability and approved time off, with a reason for each pick.

December: twice the hours, half the patience.

Holiday season, handled.

Blackout dates block time-off requests on your busiest days. Open shifts go to whoever's free and qualified, first yes wins. Seasonal hires join by scanning a QR code.

Who was supposed to do the stockroom?

Tasks that land on the right person.

Recurring duties repeat to a role on a schedule, like receiving on Tuesdays or a weekly recount. One-off tasks take photo proof and can earn points.

Did the closer actually lock up?

Opening and closing, with photos.

Lights, cash drop, back door. Checklists with photo proof feed the day's log. Shift notes tell the opener what happened after you left.

Twelve part-timers. Twelve different lives.

Part-time hours, kept straight.

Each person's hours and target hours show as you build, with overtime warnings as you move shifts. Availability takes rules like "every other weekend". Part-timers pick up open shifts from their phone.

I heard he was late from a customer.

On time, or you'll know.

Phone clock-in at a geofenced spot, or a PIN tablet by the counter. Set your own early and late rules. A no-show alert reaches you, and On my way tells you who's coming.

Build the week

Build the week from the sales floor.

  • The whole schedule works on your phone: add shifts, post open shifts, copy last week.
  • Nothing goes out until you press Send. Then only the people whose shifts changed get one alert, with a minute to undo.
  • Let Shifty run it, if you want. Pick a day, and it builds next week and sends it on its own when nothing breaks your rules. Changes to hours or pay are always proposals you confirm.
  • Shift swaps and cover asks stay with the original person until you approve.

Payday

Hours your payroll can trust.

  • Timesheets flag their own problems: missed punches, long shifts with no break, overtime creeping up. Each one has a one-tap fix.
  • Every employee signs off on the week on their phone before payroll.
  • The original punch is never overwritten. Every edit keeps who, when and why.
  • Breaks follow your state's rules, with the federal floor built in.

One place for the whole store

Talk to the team without the group text.

Announcements, the manager log and team chat live in the same app people open to clock in.

Announcements that get read

"New return policy starts Monday." People tap to say they've read it.

The manager log

One line per fact. Late arrivals and missed shifts are written in for you.

Time off, in one place

Requests you can approve whole, or just the days that work.

Their language

Each person picks English, Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese. Alerts follow.

Recognition

Part-timers stay where they're noticed.

Retail turnover is expensive. Shout-outs land on the phone in gold, points are never taken away, and you choose the rewards. Employee of the Week tops everyone's Home.

Questions

Questions store owners ask.

How does Teamagogo help with the holiday season?

Block time-off requests on your busiest days with blackout dates. Post open shifts that anyone qualified can claim. New seasonal hires scan a QR code to ask to join. Copy last week or a saved week, and let Shifty draft around everyone's availability.

Can I schedule stockroom and closing tasks?

Yes. Recurring duties repeat to a role on a schedule, and one-off tasks can be assigned to anyone. Opening and closing checklists take photo proof and feed the day's log.

Most of my staff are part-time. Can I keep their hours straight?

Yes. You see each person's hours and target hours as you build, overtime warnings as you move shifts, and availability rules like "every other weekend". Part-timers can pick up open shifts from their phone.

Does it work for more than one store?

One login can switch between locations today. Reports rolled up across several locations aren't built yet.

We're on Homebase or When I Work. How hard is switching?

Bring your employee list, past timecards and time-off balances over from Homebase, When I Work, Deputy, Sling or 7shifts. You see a preview before anything is saved. Payroll stays where it is: Teamagogo exports files for ADP RUN, Gusto, QuickBooks Online and Paychex Flex.
