CDS Housing/Dane Group

When CDS Housing acquired a number of other smaller RSLs in the region, there was a need to consolidate their offices and facilities throughout the North West.

Recognising that the process of the restructuring had been a stressful experience for their staff, the Chief Executive hired Team a go-go to involve staff in workshops to design ‘living rooms’ in each of their buildings in the North West.

As a Client, CDS were keen to invest in staff facilities, recognising the positive impact this has on morale and productivity. This project resulted in five very different spaces, including:

kitchens
dining room
relaxations room
‘club’ room
social space

This project demonstrates how Team a go-go’s unique participation based process can be used to bring about both change and cohesion for groups that are involved.

Running 5 sites simultaneously for one client in 5 very different premises was not without its challenges, but both Plus, its staff, and Team a go-go are very pleased with the results.
