Ideas Foundation

The Ideas Foundation is a charitable organisation set up by the Design and Advertising industry, offering authentic workplace experience for young people considering careers in the sector.

Team a go-go have to date run two projects, the first of which involved Natalie and Nicole from Abraham Guest School in Wigan, who over a two week period, worked within our studio to design a classroom of the future.

More recently, working with Bolton University, Team a go-go took 25 pupils from 2 Bolton Schools through a creative brief to pitch ideas for a cultural learning space for Bolton to a Dragons Den of experts.

The process involved an Architectural Tour, with a temporary design studio in Bolton University hosting a base for research, design, mentoring and pitch preparation. It is intended that creative ideas from across all learning pitches, will inform future policy for learning spaces in Bolton, an authority currently affected by cuts in BSF capital projects.
